Roots:
I was brought home from the hospital in an Ohio State onesie to Delaware, Ohio. Some of my favorite childhood memories include helping my Grandpa on his farm — grit runs deep in my blood.
Family:
I’m the mother to two hilarious kids, a wife to a very patient husband, and belong to a large, loud, and very loving modern family.
Loves:
True crime podcasts, running, and taking long walks through antique stores.
Career highlight:
That time I planned the logistics for and organized two semi-trucks full of supplies for get-out-the-vote rallies across the Navajo Nation.
Hard pass:
Cockroaches, celery, and wasting time.
Education:
I went to Ohio University for my undergrad and the University of Arizona for graduate school. Degrees include Psychology, Women’s Studies, Sociology, Criminology, and a certificate in Higher Education.
Go to kareoke song:
Anything by Elton John or Van Morrison. But good luck getting me to sing in front of anyone but my kids :)
